As indicated a week ago, the situation probably is not par-
ticularly critical1 .since the stories that have apparently been
put out on our eo le are quite concerned with both the general
aspects of activities and his services to the Government.
C. Security Check

- reports belatedly that on 23 March 1959 their _
office was visited by two members of the Office of Security who
made a thorough security check of walls and phones. The results
of this check were negative. This check was made at our specific
request in connection with the number of telephone conversations
between here and - and the critical nature of the matter.
