Synthetic Materials in Aircraft Construction
1. Major General (Engineering Sciences) A. Twaanov wrote in Sovietskays
avia,taiya, 25 May 195C, of the use of synthetic materials in aircraft con.
atruction. Brief comments were and? about the TO-104, TW-114, IL-1S, and AN-10.
According to the anther, these materials may be used in the form of glass fibers
made into a foam plastic for structural strength or a glass textolite for soft
