F,xport of Electronic E1uipment to Poland
Memorandum by the United Kingdom Delegation
The United Kingdom Authorities have been asked to
approve the export to Poland of electronic equipment as
described below. These articles are covered by the
definition. of I.L. 1529(a) and their total value is
0613. The export of similar equipment has previously
been agreed by the Committee: COCOM Documents 3344, 3565,
3569 and 3619 refer.
(a) One Vacuum Tube Voltmeter, Type T. F. I01I.1 .I3, and
accessories consisting of I Co-axial connector
and I A.C. Multiplier, total value 0315. This
equipment is stated to be required for use by
the ZAKLADY LAMP OSCYLOSKOWYCH, IWICZNA K/`WWARSZAWY
for measurements during the production of
Oscilloscope Valves.. A full technical description
of the instrument was given in COCOM Document
No. 3569, paragraph 3. .
(b) Two R.F. Power Meters, Type T.F. 1152/1v total
value 0298. These are stated to be required by
ZAKLADY APARATOW TLLEFONICZNYCH, LODZ for the
purpose of testing telephone apparatus during
production. A full technical description of
this instrument was given in COCOM Document
No. 3344..
Her Majesty's Government consider that these require-
ments are reasonable and wish to authorise the export under
the special Polish exceptions procedure. The usual
assurances against re-export will be obtained. They would
be grateful for the views of Member Governments by October 5.
