The Spring General Board Meeting of the USAF Scientific Advisory
Board was one of our most interesting and profitable. As you
are well aware, planning a meeting of this type requires the
combined efforts of a large number of people, while the only
true measure of its success comes from an assessment of what
the speakers have said and the reaction of the audience.
Your briefing on "More Nations with Nuclear Power" was very in-
formative and in addition it furnished valuable background
material for the discussion groups which considered various
aspects of the theme topic in more detail the second day of the
meeting.
Many of our members and distinguished guests have commented to
me on the excellence of your presentation. I consider it a
pleasant duty indeed to thank you for your outstanding contri-
bution to the success of the program. I know that Mr. Zuckert,
General LeMay and the entire Board join me in extending their
expression of appreciation.
