Dulles, interviewed over three

hesitated to make a comparison
between U. S. and Soviet de-

ballistic missiles.
He said the Russians "have
made quite a lot of progress
in that field, but I hale ; no
evidence they are ahead f us."
Senate Democrats have i arged
that the administration has
permitted the Soviets to forge
ahead of this country.
Turning to recent attabks on
Josef Stalin by current Soviet
leaders, Dulles said he believes
the Kremlin is try?ng tOi per-
suade the "befuddled" Russian
people that "they are doing
away with tyranny." But, he
said, the Kremlin still is;;dom-
