office of the Central Intelli-
gence Agency, has been named
"Woman of the Year" by the
Denver Chapter, American
Business Women's Association.
(ABWA).
The title was conferred on
Miss Sorenson Thursday night
at a chapter dinner meeting.
The award is presented an-
nually by each ABWA chapter
to one of its members. It is
based primarily on the mem-
ber's progress in her chosen
business field. Her other inter-
ests, such as community, edu-
cational and character - build-
ing activities are considered.
Miss Sorenson is a candidate
for the. national title, "American
Business Woman of the Year."
The winner will be announced
at the ABWA convention Oct.
20-22 in Las Vegas, Nev. The
organization has more than 670'
chapters.
