Reference is made to your letter dated 13 January 1959 request-
ing information concerning an appointment in the United States Army
Reserve.
If you desire to make application for appointment to fill a unit
vacancy, suggest you contact the Senior Unit Advisor of the United States
Army Reserve Center having jurisdiction over the unit for which applica-
tion is being made. For other than unit vacancy, contact the Senior
Unit Advisor, Third Street USAR Center, 1025 Third Street, N. WW., Wash-
ington, D. C. for information and assistance in completing the necessary
forms for submitting a formal application to this headquarters. He will
also advise you of necessary eligibility qualifications for appointment
in the United States Army Reserve.
Upon completion of necessary forms, it is requested that same be
returned to this headquarters, ATTN: AIXXI-AGRB, thru the Senior Unit
Advisor, together with the following information:
