I just received your letter of September 12th
together with your letter of the same date to 14r.
Walter Wolf and have gone over both of them very
carefully.
It would be impossible to guarantee you a
position with CIA at some future date, inasmuch
as the date itself would be so indefinite and it
would be impossible to know what the requirements
would be then. However, the fact that you have de-
aided not to.take a position at the present time
would not militate against any future application you
might make after completion of your law course.
I hope everything goes well with ou at Harvard
Law School. I have a son, , who is now
beginning his third year and perhaps you will run
across one another.
Please give my regards to your father, whom I
know well and admire greatly.
