Intermaintenance (INTERMAIN) will be started by d ST INTR5 or
XAU*P$RUN.INTERMAIN/RUNS once a day from the console at 0030. This.will initiate
five (5) runstreams (INTR1 thru INTR5) which will cause INTERMAIN to be run by
the following times:
1. 0130
2. 0530
3. 1130
4. 1530
5. 2000
Each INTERMAIN will query the Transaction Interface File (TIF) records which
point to the Installation Data File (IDF) records that have been updated since
the last INTERMAIN. !'
INTERMAIN will take each TIF record and place it in the XAU*IDFHIS-FILE.
It will continue this process until all TIF records have been queried. INTERMAIN
will then delete all TIF records that have been processed in preparation for the 17,061L
INTERMAIN run.
Normal and abnormal messages will be output to the console and at the end of
the printer listing. Individual error messages will be printed. The listings
from the printer should be sent to Data Base Section thru TSS and retained for one
week.

When an error is encountered during a run of the INTERMAIN program, it will
print out error-status, counters, and buffers. This will assist PB in understanding
the problem encountered. As long as the program terminates successfully, these
error listings do not indicate an invalid run--only minor file problems.
System and/or Timer Crash: Determine if INTERMAIN series are still in backlog.
If not, it may be necessary to restart initial runstream.
