2. At the southern tip of the CPN Centrala Produktow Hafto ch-Center of
Oil Products) in the New i'ort, on a sma square, sa TUTFm- Restaurant
(No.l). This is a well known haunt of prostitutes, who ex-cract information
from foreign sailors. some Polish seamen, agents of the UB, frequent the
restaurant for the same purpose. AltLough prostitution is officiary pro-
hil- ted, the- Harbor Medical Officer- has-the -du1 y of keeping health records
on these-girls. Thiu--proves?-that prostitution is indirectly legalized by
the authorities.
3. "A little farther south is a small wooden pier (No.2). Pram one side a
ferry leaves towards the interior of the port; from the other 2idW.4K
boat leaMs? towards :;isboujscie village.
4. "Farther south are two grain elevators (No.3). One was destroyed duriQg
World Wax-1-1 and is now being restored. Both are used for storage by trig
Herb Center (Centrals i:ielarska). Still farther south are warehouses with
cement (No.4), packing sacke etc. These buildings are very dilapidated.
Generally, the whole dock (No-5) from the elevators (No.3) down to the
?ost Office (No.12) is in bad condition and partly damaged.. Behind the
warehouses (No.4) is a railway station (No.16) which is now without real
importance; it stands within the harbor enclosures.
5. "Opposite the CPN to the south, stands the Harbor Post Office (No.12)
wh&Ve all 1,arcels coming from. abroad are unloaded., .. Nearby i6 e,-ritstam-s
station_(No.13).

10. In the background, behind the fence, are following buildings: 25X1X
25X1X a. Behind the restatirant'(No.1) 'stand some repair sheds '(No:6)
b. Farther,, on the seme side of the,street going from. the CPN along
the southern outskirts of the New Port 41o.17), is a House of
Cloture-i)om. Kultury- (marked on the sketch only with an arrow
and (No.7). This House of Culture has the largest hall on the
entire-,olich coast. It contains club-rooms, canteens etc.
C.. still farther along the muse street (also marked only with. an
arrow and (1No.8), stands the building of the administrative
hertdcntarterz of the MV, also the CPN surface stores.
d,. 4e6 of that point (No.8) is marshy land which the Germans
called seer lee. From that marsh a stream flows out and
becomes--a. canal, which enters the harbor canal between the
restaurant (No.l't-and -the elevators (No.3). It is at this
point that the line of the fence from the Post Office to the
CPN has a breach.

e. A little to the south of the station (No.16), Snie Zna Street
runs towards northwest. In this street?there is a hotel [hostelf 7
for, the personnel of the Harbor I+iedical Office, nurses etc. It
consists. of two buildings connected by a garage'(No;9)
11. "An.arrofw (.No.10) shows the direction to the village of Letniszcze;
another arrow .(1To.ll)'.shows the direction to Wrzeozcz. Along the road,.
after'passing Letniszcze, on the northern side, are barracks for army
troops and.tiervice to Poland-units'.
12. "Beyond letniozeze, a railway line runs towards north-west, leading
from the New Fort and the'Free Customs Zone-to the city of Gdausk."
