On 1 July 1963 the Suiyuan-Mongolia Military and Political Cadres School'
of the Suiy-Mongolia Military District, which had been established as
a result of the merger of the formerly separate schools for military a4d.
political cadres in the Inner Mongolia and Suiyuan Military Districts$
began the enrollment of five hundred new students. Students were
required to be graduates of junior middle schools and to have been
reoorended by officers in charge of Party or Youth Lea ue2 units above
the hsien (4906) level, or of, army units of regimental 10067) level or
above.
