In June, the Inner Mongolia-Suiyuan Military District (IMSMD) completed the organization of three public security divisions from the Public security to tui (1199/7130), public security chung tui (00227130), and basic regiments (t'uan, 0957) of its military sub-districts. These divisions were located as follows: a. The 1 Division, or the Inner Mongolia Public Security Tsung Tui (4920/7130), was at Paot'ou (N 40-36, E 110-03), with units at Wuyuan (N 41-07, E 108-22) Hs.ien Pailingmiao (N 41-50, E 110-27), and Tungsheng (N 39-52, E 109-595 Hs ien. b. The .2 Division,_or the $uiyuan Public Security Tsung Tui, was at Ulan Rota (N 46-05, E 122-01) with one regiment along the Ch!angch'un Railroad.l c . The 3 Division, or the Tsung Tui directly under .the :Dow Publie _ej..Iy Command, was at i{ueisui. (N 40-47, E 111-37), withia small force along the Peiping-Paot'ou Railway. 2., The IM 4D Public Security Command was based at'Kueisui wider the command2 of WANG Tsai-t'ien (3769/0375/1131), who?vas'aUo known as Namjilsereng. 3. In June the..IMSMT) completed the organization of two artillery regiments (t'uan 0957). In early'July these two regiments, under. the direct command of the IMSMD, were at Chotzu (N40-52;, E ].12_33) and Ulan Hota. Each regi- 3 merit had a strength of 2,700 men and was equipped with 4G5 artillery pieces. Very little information is available cconcerW public security forces .in the 7 reported that in February 1953 the'Suiyua rov c u c curity Column was based at.ShAnpa (N 40-59, E 107-08), ?ailingmiao, and Tungsheng and the 1 Public Security Battalion was in eastern Inner Mongolia, along the Ch.'angch'un Railway. In the present report, locations of the 1 and 2 ;Public'Security Divi- sions are given a received.. It appears probable, however, that the locations of the two divisions have been somehow interchanged, since the 5uiyuan Public Security Tsung Tui is reported in Inner Mongolia and the. Inner Mongolia Public Security Tsung Tui is reported in 8uiyuan, the latter unit with a disposition near]. identical to that 25X1A reported for the Suiyuan Public Security Column 3.
