1, Some of the barracks buildings of the URNO (P 50/N 40) Z.rfi.1 d were liuiit-
ed on 9 December 1940, The field was guarded by sentries and patrols.
2. Trie weather was dull and there was no ~lyinW at the field between 7 a.s.
and 12:30 pFl.:, on 10 Dece ber? 1949, A bus occupied by 35 air force officers
arrivod at the barracks be, .iding about is p.m. `Aic hangars, each about
40 Y. 250 x 500 feet, were southwest of the BRNO--VYSKOV (' AN 71)
railroad line. A third t angar of the same size wras sander construction
Beside this was a 160--foot square tent airshed, in front of Which a
single-engi rie Yii b-wing monopl ie with the marking OK taas parked. A
tw .n-engine low--wing monoplane painted green was parked in the aircrart
revet .exits along the railroad line . In fiche area of the field bui .dings
there were several ditches (with cable reels nearby) on which civilian
laborers were working > lion? other personnel, air-SNB members wearing
air force uniforms with a wide red stripe around their caps were frequent-
ly obsorv=ed in the field area, TTh air field waas not fenced-in,

It has, so far been assumed that tw figi.ter regitrrents (fraining S uadron
No 3, a &ignal communication company and Air Force Base No 3 of the T ird.
Air Division) 'were stationed at the field. The report does not indicate 25X1A
whether the units are still located there, The aircraft assi ;ned to the 25X1A
fighter units were possibly parked in the tiro hangars.
