PROGRESS REPORT ------ PROGRAMS DIVISION
Apart from what I presume to be routine -- such as trying to keep
the professors happy and handling about ten inquiries from various offices
on technical and area training opportunities for employees -- the only
noteworthy progress has been conduct of? and favorable reaction to the
first of three seminars on the USSR initiated this week,
I made one visit to the External Research Staff and STAT
attended one conference at the Southeast Asia Seminar at State (to which
I hope to return late this afternoon).
