1. A Burmese delegation has arrived in Paris ostensibly to take part in the
international railway conference. Its actual purpose is to contact French industrial
works for the purchase of railway rails.
2. The extent of the orders which the Burmese would place in France goes far beyond
what can be done.. in track laying in. Burma during the next two or three years.
French business circles are accordingly convinced that the rails are to be delivered
from Burma to South China.
