Lrosl.au pe ssago) . The water alongside the quay, was 28 feet deep. A flat
r cirked by a buoy was off the entrance to the Debicki Canal. The quay in-
stall?ations were new and had spur tracks running to the pier. Two loading
sheds, each 180 by 40 meters, one 90 by 40-meter loo ding shed and a large
administration building were on the Czechosloveki quay i elect]"Ic l
cranes were at the water frontage of the quay, rather heavy 25X1
traffic at the Dunzig quay, which had a loading shed a lout 200 meters in
length, a fridge crane at the eastern end, two large heavy-duty cranes and
four medium-sized electrical cranes.
2., A large shipyard area was between the former Odexwerke shipyard in Grabow and
the former Vulkan yard and the Gollrow & Son shipyard. An isolated large crane
of between 80 and 100 tons lifting caapevcity was the, only conspicuous equipment

On 20 January 1954, a. new ship of between 2,000 arad 3,000 GRT was launched from
the midmost building slip. The new ehips under construction were of similar size
and seemed soon to be ready for launching, The hull, which had been launched,
was moved to the outfitting quay, where another two ships were nearing comple-
tion. ti fourth ship, Soviet motor ship CHULYM, lay alongside the outfitting
quay at the Oderwerke shipyard. ''$ch luilding slip had a large tower crane and
four modern quay cranes, which had been installed sfer the war? The old-type
