On her arrival in Stettin harbor ship was directed to her berth 25X1 at the Czechoslovakia quay In the ebicki Canal (previously Bresiauer Fahrt, Lrosl.au pe ssago) . The water alongside the quay, was 28 feet deep. A flat r cirked by a buoy was off the entrance to the Debicki Canal. The quay in- stall?ations were new and had spur tracks running to the pier. Two loading sheds, each 180 by 40 meters, one 90 by 40-meter loo ding shed and a large administration building were on the Czechosloveki quay i elect]"Ic l cranes were at the water frontage of the quay, rather heavy 25X1 traffic at the Dunzig quay, which had a loading shed a lout 200 meters in length, a fridge crane at the eastern end, two large heavy-duty cranes and four medium-sized electrical cranes. 2., A large shipyard area was between the former Odexwerke shipyard in Grabow and the former Vulkan yard and the Gollrow & Son shipyard. An isolated large crane of between 80 and 100 tons lifting caapevcity was the, only conspicuous equipment observed on the premises of the Gollnow shipyard., The Oderwerke had three opera- tion-1 building slips. New ships were built on two slips on 16 January 1954. On 20 January 1954, a. new ship of between 2,000 arad 3,000 GRT was launched from the midmost building slip. The new ehips under construction were of similar size and seemed soon to be ready for launching, The hull, which had been launched, was moved to the outfitting quay, where another two ships were nearing comple- tion. ti fourth ship, Soviet motor ship CHULYM, lay alongside the outfitting quay at the Oderwerke shipyard.
