I. A Munitions factory which has branches in Voroshilovgrad and Nikolaev J11
situated on the western edge of Stalino (47?5S'N, 370451E). It produrzs
the following, but the volume of production is not known:

There is also a center for research on or construction of V-reapons at this
factory.
The director of the factory fu&onoral. The factory operates on two ';2-hour
shirts of 1,500 workers each, fifty percent of whom aro womem No Pft are
employed in manufacturing. The mIrkers are all from Stalin?. The breati
ration of those who do not meet their production quota ia reduced from 600
th 100 grams per day.
The factory, a former tnnk factory, consists of four pre-war bu.ildirg6 end
two buildings (Nos. 1 and 2) which were constructed by German nie toward
the end of 1944. One atom building, 300 X 80 meters, serves as a slapping
depot and has six tracks along the loading platforms. A turn-table pita
transfer of rolling stock from one track to another. Inside the fact 77
grounds is a network of 60 cm-wide tracks. Two branch linos connect
factory with external rail lines.
4. All machinery in the factory runs on electricit which is supplied by a
station In Stalin?.
The factory iv camouflaged. with grey paint. The entire factory grounds are
surrounded by a barbed wire fence two meters high Around the enclosure
and about 150 meters from the fence ia a_ ditch, 1,.5-meters wide and filled
with water. This ditch is fed by a canal leading from a lignite mine
Utuated 15 1cm. east of the factory. Between the ditch ad the fence is
a road for the motor vehicles which transport the patrols. A Russian police
post inspects the papers of persons who enter the factory.

wire and are strictly guarded. Fs are never allow-
od to enter the onclosures. LI November 19461 a
big explosion occurred here, causing considerable
damage and a numbor of deaths. A commission from
-oscow came to invastlate it. P13 used in the un-
packing of cases which came from 0.ermany saw IT-weapon
rudders (Flossonteile) and were able to read the word
"Nordhausen" as the name of the expediting station.

lemony, containing lathes and motors fra'. !!aybach.
Daily loading of products from the factory amounts to six railroad or' ; of 20
or 40 tons of ems and ahmunition. ,_;ach week two trains of 20 to 30 Ire leave
the factory for 'larsaw and the distribution centers of ansk and apno Lnka
(sic; reported to be in the Ukraine).
