Movement of the Oranienburg tank unit to Zehdenick is reported to have started
on 17 April. On 23 April throe trains with a total of 54 T31+ tanks and other
motorized equipment were seen at the Oranienburg station moving toward Loewen-
berg. Onetrain,; carrying a total of 12 T34 tanks, five armored cars, and other
vehicles, was seen at the Oranienburg station roving toward Loewenberg on 2/.
April.'
2. At Uittenborg on 5 A'Sri1 26 ks, and an unspecified number of trucks, in-

flat, box-car loads of troops, five flat cars bearing one tank each, and other
flat cars carrying a total of 30 vehicle was seen
leaving Wittenberg station in the direct.1

area,
The trains were carrying tank and army components of the 23rd Gds Mach Div
from Leipzig to Ttalle 0 Part of the reported movement was of units of the 8th
Gds Arny to Ohrd cif and Kindel.
