1. On the general structure of the CSY1 L Coupplex the following
information is available
There are 13 independent factories divided into two groups under one
general management which is responsible not to the Linistry of Heavy
Industry, but to the ;:sinister himself,
The two groups are i) The Engineering Trust coirprising 11 factories
as follows
Bicycle factory
b) Motor factory
Machine Tools
d) Sewing machines
Construction work and cranes
f Apparatus and small tools
g) Iron and steel castings
h Gas works.

1. lxrea. The shop consists of 3 halls, one approx. 35 x
25 metres, the second 55 x 10 metres and the third 50 x 16 metres,
2. Furnaces, There are 4. HERELLT 3-phase are furnaces, two
of these were 30 years old but had some modern adaptations, two were
built at Csepel itself. There are also two electric furnaces of 9-ton
capacity, two of 41-ton capacity and one high-frequency induction
furnace with a capacity of 1-ton.

Labour. The labour force is 300 working 3 shifts of 8
hours 6 days a week and 2 shifts of 12 hours on Sundays.
