1. Attached is a portion of the 1960-1965 section of the East
German Seven-Year Plan for the VVB Aircraft Construction (Flugzeugbau)
which was drawn up by the East German State Planning Commission
on 1 October 1959. This portion of the plan include basic data
on planned exports, investments, labor force, labor ctivity J
and production cost reductions for each year of the plan period."
2. The plan shows that investments in VVB Flugzeubau will taper off
steadily over the plan period going from 85 million D14E in 1960
to 35 million DME in 1965. ( ' Pr'Y 1960
3, The export section of the attached plan only lists gliders under
the most important products. This is obviously an imcomplete
listing because the quantity of such planes remains at 50 per year
during the plan period, whereas the overall value of products
exported by VVB Flugzeugbau considerably increases during the
same period.
