The road which runs from Maritsa to Nova Zagora, through the village of Stakhanovo (N 42-69: E 25-52; formerly Sladuk Kladenets ), forms a fork at a point a few kilometers from Stakhanovo and becomes a, road of secon- dary importance which runs to the east as far as the village of Obruchishte (N 42-08, E 25-56). then continues nearly parallel to the main road, toward Nova Zagora, through the village of Lyubenovo (N 42-12, E 25-55) 2. At a point approximately halfway between Obruchishte and Lyubenovo a new single track railroad line running northeast-southwest is under construc- tion.
