2. As we discussed with each of you, our focus is to be HUMINT
collection, as highlighted by the problems of Soviet stockpile and
doctrine analysis, and the different collection problem of proliferation
of CW capabilities. In the sessions immediately preceding ours, the
Subgroup will have been briefed by NSA on collection systems, SED/INSCOM
on chemical team operations, AFMIC on BW threat, and USAMRIID on
biological defense programs.
