SUBJECT: Reprogramming Request for Modernization Contract
1. Action Requested: Reprogramming of ~ from FBIS INTERNET
funds is requeste for the FBIS modernization contract with the Lockheed
Corporation.
2. Impact. A multiyear contract with the Lockheed Corporation
is expected to be signed soon for the FBIS Modernization Program. The
program, begun in 1984, will, inter alia, upgrade the processing,
storage, retrieval, and distribution of open source information at FBIS
Headquarters. Since 0 of INTERNET funds will not be obligated in
FY 1985, FBIS proposes to reprogram those funds for use on another of
its Modernization Program contracts.
3. Purpose: The requeste will be used for the Lockheed
Corporation Automation contract.
