1. Reference A addresses the OMB requirement to submit data
pertaining to Agency programs and budgets for security of automated
information and telecommunications systems and establishes the DDA as the
lead in gathering needed data. I have tasked the Office of Information
Technology (OIT) to gather needed data (not already available to OIT) from
Agency components via the Agency ADP Control Officers. As indicated in
Reference B, OIT has already tasked ADP Control Officers for some of the
data. Your component's cooperation in helping us meet the Comptroller's
20 June 1985 deadline would be appreciated.
2. After the data has been compiled, a determination will be made as
to the the Agency's reply.
