SIGNIFICANCE: 2. REMARKS: KOLA INLET, USSR HIGH DEGREE OF SUBMARINE ACTIVITY. FOUR MISSILE- LIKE OB~'~ECTS AND A LARGE AMOUNT OF MISSILE-RELATED EQUIPMENT IS OBSERVED AT THE POLYARNYY NAVAL MISSILE SUPPORT FACILITY KISLAYA GUBA. POLYARNYY NAVAL BASE IS THE LOCATION OF THE 4TH SUBMARINE EHSKADRA AND ITS SUBORDINATE 69TH, 96TH, 161ST, AND 211TH SUBMARINE BRIGADAS. IT IS ALSO THE LOCATION OF ONE OF THE 4 NAVAL MISSILE FACILI- TIES IN THE SOVIET NORTHERN FLEET AREA. PALA GUBA NAVAL BASE AND SHIP REPAIR YARD IS THE LOCATION OF THE ONLY SUBMARINE REPAIR YARD OUT- .SIDE OF ROSTA IN THE KOLA INLET AREA. GUBA OLENYA SUBMARINE BASE IS THE LOCATION OF THE 12TH SUBMARINE EHSKADRA AND ITS SUBORDINATE 18TH SUB- MARINE DIVIZYA.
