KUANG-CHOU/PAI-YUN AIRFIELD
THE NEWS MEDIA* REPORTED THE SALE OF PAKISTAN'S
FLEET OF FOUR TRIDENT JET TRANSPORTS TO
COMMUNIST CHINA. COMMUNIST CHINA HAS ALREADY
RECEIVED TWO OF PAKISTAN'S TRIDENT JET TRANSPORTS.
THE DELIVERY DATE OF THE REMAINING TWO IS
UNKNOWN.
THE BRITISH HAWKER SIDDELEY TRIDENT FIRST FLOWN IN
JANUARY 1962, IS A SHORT-TO MEDIUM-RANGE TRANSPORT
POWERED BY THREE AFT-MOUNTED TURBOJET ENGINES.
THE AIRCRAFT HAS A PASSENGER CAPACITY OF 77 TO
101 AND A CARGO CAPACITY OF 22,100 POUNDS.
NO APPARENT CHANGE WAS OBSERVED IN THE FACILITIES
