This report, based on late 1968 and 1969 photography, updates the
previous Basic Imagery Interpretation Briefs on the four major electric
power plants in Hunan Province, southern China. The cutoff date for
information in this report is February 1970.
No construction or dismantling has been observed at the four plants
since the previous reports. On the latest coverage, the three plants at
Chu-chou, Hsiang-hsiang, and Tui-kou-chi were operating. The plant at
Heng-yang, however, did not appear to be operating.

the following four major electric power plants in Hunan Province:
1. Chu-chou Thermal Power Plant.
2. Heng-yang Hydro Power Plant Lock and Dam Pai-yu-tan.
3. Hsiang-hsiang Dam and Hydro Power Plant Shui-fu-miao.
4. Tui-kou-chi Hydro Power Plant and Dam Che-chi.
