THREE BATTERIES OF 130-MM FIELD
GUNS M-46 WERE OBSERVED NEAR
THE SUEZ CANAL ON THE WEST
BANK.
MISSION READOUT: ITHE THREE
BATTERIES WERE 4.7 NM (8.7 KM) SOUTH OF ISMAILIA AND
3.7 NM (APPROXIMATELY 6.9 KM) WEST OF THE SUEZ CANAL AT
30-31-OON 032-16-OOE.
M-46 WHICH HAVE A RANGE OF APPROXIMATELY 14.5 NM (27 KM).
FOUR ANTIAIRCRAFT (AA) GUNS WERE BETWEEN TWO OF THE
BATTERIES. IN ADDITION, TRUCKS AND OTHER SUPPORT EQUIP-
MENT WERE..PRESENT.
