SA-3 EQUIPMENT
TORRENS MISSILE SUPPORT FACILITY SAM, CUBA
1. SIGNIFICANCE: First identification of SA-3 equipment in Cuba.
2. REMARKS: SA-3 equipment was observed for the first ti Cuba
at Torrens Missile Support Facility SAM on photography
The SA-3 equipment consisted of two canvas-covered
SA-3 missile transporters, two SA-3 canisters on dollies, two
canvas-covered probable SA-3 missiles on dollies and one addition-
al SA-3 dolly.
Historically, Torrens Missile Support Facility SAM has been as-
sociated with the SA-2 system.

SAM site No SA-3 equipment was observed at
either of these SA-3 configured SAM sites
