Prior to the spring of 1954, the barracks installation on the northern perimeter of Beuthen (Q 51/Y 58) quartered Polish infantrymen who wore khaki uniforms with red service color. Units leaving the installation carried no heavy weapons or other special equipment. Only very few motor vehicles were observed in the area around the installation.1 2. In the spring of 1954, three narrow sides fronted on the the western perimeter recent years. The pit in the Beuthen area.
