Starting-IT-August-1954, daily consultations took place at the Main
lldmimistration for Radio and Telecommunications Technology (HV RFT),for''
the purpose of working out the principles of 1955 production. Representa
. tives of the managements of all enterprises under HV RFT were called to 25X1
these consultations. It was decided that the 1955 production plans are
to be based strictly on so-called material control figures (Materialkon-
trollziffern) which have already been issued by NV RFT to the individual
enterprises under it. These figures indicate what amounts of controlled
materials will be available for 1955 production. In previous yeara,the
production plans were not set up according to such figures but mainly
according to the production capacity of the enterprises. The consultations,
which lasted until 15 August 1954, mainly served the purpose of discussing
the material control figures with the managements and planning heads of the
individual enterprises who were called to these sessions in groups which
corresponded to the "Industrial Groups" recently established. in HV RFT.1 25X1
