Guards
13. The factory is guarded by Austrians who are all Communist Party
members. By day there are two men in the porter's lodge and three men
who patrol the factory grounds. At night the patrol is increased to
five men. All are armed with pistols.
Communist Influence in the Factory
11. At the end of January a meeting of communist members working in
the factory was held and a new propaganda campaign was announced. The
new campaign of which no details were made public at the meeting was to be
known as "PROPAGANDA'- AKTION KOPLENIG".
15. Propaganda use is being made out of the shortage of steel.
(rnntioned in paragraph 2 above) and rumours are bang put about that the
Western Powers have caused the shortage by buying up all. available stocks
for rearmament, and that this would probably result in the discharge of
workers from U. S. I.A, factories?
