However, in view of the inefficient work of the commissions on prizes, many entries in the competitions for medals and prizes were judged to be unsuite.b'e. Ye.Fersman, imeni K. A. Timiryazev, imeni V. G. Belin- akiy, imeni IV. N. Miklukho-Maklay, imeni P. L. Chebyshev, and others. The Gold Medal imeni V. V. Dokuchayev wds not awarded.
