The 309th Independent Antiaircraft Regiment (309-ti Samostalni protiv-
Q 34.A.C.;?, 1 5 -2-) avionski puk)
This Regiment - which is about 1,300 men strong - is lodged in barracks
situated in the Ilidia zone, near Sarajevo.
The Commandant is Major DuliC, and the political commissar Major VranaC.

The regiment consists of:
three groups, each group having three batteries,
one company of observers,
one liaison battalion,
one platoon for chemical defense (sic), and
the logistics command.
Armament :
1st Group - guns "FLAK" of 20 millimeters,
2nd Group - German guns of 80,8 millimeters, and
3rd Group - Soviet guns of 30,7 millimeters.
The telemeters and the altimeters are German and Soviet made.
The regiment is autonomous and depends directly from the VIIth Military
Region (VII-ma Vojna Oblast) of Sarajevo.

The School Battalion for Drivers of Nis (D )152)

This Battalion is lodged at the northern periphery (outskirts) of Nig
in three new barracks; the Battalion is about 550 men strong. The motorized
vehicles are sheltered in 12 considerably large garages.
The Battalion consists of : its Command, four companies, and the Services.
Thre drivers courses last 6 months. At the end of the courses, the
graduates are distributed through various units.
The Battalion is equipped with:
30 trucks Opel Blitz of 3 t
25 trucks C.M.C. of 3 tons,
2 Jeeps,
1 Opel - Kapitan car,
1 Mercedes Benz car,
6 heavy motorcycles B M W., and
2 motorcycles.
The Commandant of the Battalion is Captain Mladen KosoriC.
The political commissar is Captain Risti.
Commandants of companies are the Lieutenants : RageviC, and VojnoviCI

This Regiment is dislocated in Kosovska Mitrovica, and depends from
the IIIrd Military Region (Vojna Oblast) of Skoplje.
The Commandant of the Regiment is Lieutenant Colonel NikgiC.

The Regiment consists of :
two battalions,
one company r.t. (sic),
one platoon of chemical defense,
one platoon of automobile transports, and
the logistic command (-which has 20 horses).
The first battalion serves as school for officers and noncommissioned
officers; it has three batteries; the first battery serves as school for 110

The seat of this Regiment is in Kumanovo,
Division of 6tip.
The Commandant of the Regiment is Major Branko Balaban.

one company of mortars of 120 millimeters,

The Underground Arms and Ammunitions Magazine of Biljanoyift

An underground magazine of arms and ammunitions is situated in Bilja-
noyial at about 800 meters south of Kumanoyo.
The magazine consists of six underground halls dimensioned 50 X 15
meters, where guns, machine guns, and rifles as well as their munitions are
stored.
Some barracks are located on the ground, where soldiers of a company
of the 6th rifle regiment are lodged; the duty of those soldiers is to
watch the magazine.
