1. During the period covered by this report Colonel Baird s
under my direct supervision and assigned to duties as Director of
Training, Central Intelligence ASeney.
2. In the performance of his assiguaent Colonel Baird
exhibited as excellent knowledge of his duties caebined with
judgunt and. reliability that me&ee him outstanding in this field.
His exceptional oo>eration with other people and his leadership
of those uxder him have enabled him to pLrrorm a =f icult job in
a highly cooseendatory mmu nsr.
3. Colonel Baird is an extremely loyal, hard-1orkin,
intelligent officer with capacitor for coatim ad growth and
usefulness In the Air Force. I consider him to be or groat
value to the Service and one of the better officers I have
kumm of his rank and experience.
