CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY
Owners of private cars have to take a test roughly equivalent to a driver
Class III; however the sew'erity of the practical test and the knowledge
required of the highway code, etc., depends on the amount of traffic in the
locality in which the candidate is likely to be driving.
7. The requirements for tractor drivers are similar, though of course knowledge
of the highway code is not necessary.
8.
Army drivers are loosely affililted to the tank arm (black shoulder boards,
etc) in view of the fact that their technical knowledge would make them
eligible for incorporation into a tank or mechanized division in the case of
an emergency.
