I am very appreciative of your efforts in organizing and
managing the helpful Intelligence Seminar of 23 June. It was..a
useful experience for me, and I believe I now have a better
feel for what the resources of the Intelligence Community can
do for me, particularly when I call upon them for specific
purposes.
As I mentioned, I would like to have a second session,
which I have asked Hugh Montgomery to arrange later on in the
summer, in order to continue the discussion of terrorism as an
intelligence target, and also to spend some additional time
looking at production resources of the Intelligence Community.
Please also extend my appreciation to Bob Gates and
for their participation in this seminar.
