AGRICULTURAL AGREEFtENTS SIGNED COLLECTIVELY -- Prague, Zenedelske Noviny,
11 Oct 50
The collective agreement is an important instrument is the transition
of Czechoslovak agriculture from the system of private enterprise to one of
collective farming, The Ministry of Agriculture announces that, in contrast
with the procedure of the past 2 years, agreements for the production and de-
livery of farm goods will be signed with entire communities, rather than in-
dividuals. Representatives of each community will meet with government offi-
cials to draw up the terms of the agreements.
The collective agreement will apply to all farms, agricultural estab-
lishments, and enterprises within the limits of the community, with the ex-
ception oY state Parma and collective agricultural enterprises (which are
subject to central planning). It is to be noted that the quota and schedule
fox each agriculturalist will appear on the collective agreement, as will his
name as co-signer, thus making him conscious of his individual responsibility.
All agreements must be signed by 15 January 1951.
