Canton, 1 November -- Since the land-reform program in the outlyirq areas
of Canton has be. completed, the Canton People's Government requested the ap-
proval of the Central and South China Military and Administrative Committee to
permit the merger of seven ch'u (1) umbers in parentheses refer to appended
character into four administrative districts (hsing-chen ch'u) (2) as follows:
1. Hain-chiao (5) Administrative District -- includes Hsin-chou (3) Ch'u
and LS-chiao (4) Cn'u
2 Fai-yun (8) Administrative District -- includes Shih-p'ai (6) Ch'u,
She-ho (7) Ch'u, and the Pai-yun Shan section of San-yuan (9) Ch'u.
3. Hsi-ts'un (10) Acia nistrative District -- includes Hsi-ts'un Ch'u and
the portion of San-yuan Chu not included in Pai-yun Administrative District
