criticized political organizations and Voyenizdat (The Military Publishing
House) far not propagandizing and publishing more information about the

OGURTSOV, Nikolay Semenovich, Ms.,j Gen Engr-Tech Serv
Died after a long, serious illness. OGURTSOV was a member of the Commu-
nist Party since March 1917; he volunteered for the Red Guard in October 191'j,
and commanded podrazdeleniya of the Red Army during the Civil War. He roras
responsible for training co:r?nand cadres during the Great Patriotic War. In
the postwar period he worked in the Central Apparatus of the Ministry of De-
fense USSR. His decorations included the Order of Lenin, three Orders of the
Red Banner, the Order of the Red Star, and medals. Signed: a group of com-

Party since 1928. He served more than 25 years in the Soviet Army, where
he rose from officer candidate to general; he was a participant in the
Great Patriotic War. His decorations included the Order of Lenin, three
