The system is owned by the City of Budapest Goverment and is about 50 years old. The
sources of supply are springs in Kaposztas Megyer. (No water is taken from the Darabe
Fiver, It is treated by biological filtering and distributed by underground pipeline.
Consumption is approximately 150 thousand to 200 tl~---Sand cubic meters per day.
