contracting agency at office0 This neetiD25X1
as held primarily to discuss a bid request.for a 12-30 me
i ansistorized communication receiver (RRwll13B) with over-all
specifications almost identical to that being developed on the
h0-71 contract (RRAl1AA) 0 discussed a tentative 25X1
proposal which had previously been submitted to these people
whi:h indicated the techniques that expected to incorporat25X1
in an attempt to achieve the desirea ena resultso The ezp .. one
to the specification were discussed. The contractors representa,-
tive s agreed that-they should be considered design goals and not
firm specifications0
also discussed the feature of interchangeabilit25X1
between the RR-11AA and RR-11BB receivers that can be introduced,,
If a double conversion system is used for the RR-llBB receiver0
1-he contractors representative indicated they would proper 2
options in the proposals one being a direct response to the invi-
tation to bid and the other Co the feature of inter-
changoability0 Under Option 2 ould deliver tuners only 25X1
and would incorporate the modi ca ons necessary to the RR-11AA
iaccivor to accept these tuners0 The contract negotiator believed
i;,,aat if Option 2 were selected., the development of the RR-11BB
ti-ould be made an amendment to the existing contract (RD-7l)0
