Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2011/08/03: CIA-RDP90M00004R000200010015-9 OCA HIE OCA 87-3934 31 August 1987 MEMORANDUM FOR: Office of Personnel Office of Congressional Affairs SUBJECT: Overseas Premium Pay 1. Sorry I missed the meeting on 20 August, but who attended in my place filled me in. We ought to ix is. A conclusion shared by Dave Gries. 2. First, I think we need to be prepared with some facts, like exactly who else this affects, the impact on us, how other Agencies handle premium pay, including not only State but also NSA, DIA, and others you can think of. 3. Armed with these facts, we should informally approach Duane Andrews on the HPSCI side since he seems to understand the problem and is sympathetic. A couple people on the SSCI can be of help--Keith Hall, John Nelson, and Charlie Battaglia. We can get an informal reading from them. 4. I have not raised with the DDA whose input we obviously need nor the Comotroller who can also be of help. Have you talked the SSA/DDA? 5. Let me know how you want to proceed. I think the most important thing is to have all the research done and to have all the CIA players on board before we approach the Oversight Committees. cc: D/DOP DD/PA&E D/OCA Sanitized Copy Approved for Release 2011/08/03: CIA-RDP90M00004R000200010015-9
