In addition, all employees must report to their Supervisors or Security Offices all contacts, written or oral, with nationals of certain foreign nations determined by each department or agency in coordination with the FBI as being of particular relevance to its security concerns. For your information and in order to facilitate the process of coordination, the Department of Justice has designated the following entities as subject to the reporting requirements of NSDD-197 for its employees: Afghanistan, Albania, Angola, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Cuba, Czechoslovakia, Ethiopia, German Democratic Republic (East Germany), Hungary, Iran, Iraq, Laos, Libya, Nicaragua, North Korea, Outer Mongolia, Palestine Liberation Organization, People's Republic of China, Poland, Romania, South Africa, South Yemen, Syria, Taiwan, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, Vietnam and Yugoslavia.
