1. The Military Zone Command in Pula, which is directly subordinate
to the IVthf.Army District, Split (also known unofficially as the
Adriatic Territorial Command), is located in the Admiralty
Building (Palazzo-dell'Ammiragliato). The following were
principal officers:
Commanding Officer: Rear-Admiral Benko Matulic
Vice Commander: Ship's Captain Simunic (fnu)
Vice Commander: Colonel (nu), nickname "Brko"; logistics officer
S.M. Chief: a lieutenant colonel (nu), Infantry, who was
recently appointed
Chief of the Intelligence Office (Obavestajno Odelenje): Corvette
Captain DJUKIC (fnu). He had a secret office in the
Military Hospital, with several employees. 50X1-HUM
2. The Military Zone Command had territorial jurisdiction from
Koper (Capodistria) over all the Istrian coast as far as Albona
(Rasa), including Brioni Island. The units located on the
Istrian pen,insula, the Pula Naval Base, the Central School of
the Navy, guard units on Brioni, and the landing infantry on
Brioni, were all subordinate to the Zonal Command. 50X1-HUM
