5. The Director appeared before the CIA Subcommittee of Senate
Armed Services Committee. store Russell and Saltonstall of the SO-
committee were present. Is addition, Senators Hayden and Slm ton
were present. Ac np-ing the Director were General Cabell and Jobs
Warner. After a general Intelligence briefing a number of questions were
put to the Director concerning the sine of the staff in hea+dgnastare and the
