T will focus on the narcotics intelligence process across the U.S. agencies involved in international narcotics enforcement. In this regard, we would appreciate the testimony o e Cen a Intelligence Agency regarding the following subjects: -- an overview of the CIA's narcotics intelligence collection-process; -- how the Agency's narcotics intelligence assets are organized, with special emphasis on interagency coordination; -- how CIA information would feed into the proposed All-Source Intelligence Center, progress toward that goal, and the Agency's role within such a system; --.,_the budget for CIA'an i9-ence activities, and; -- potential problems encountered in effectively prosecuting United States persons on drug charges using operational o tactical intelligence gained by the various Federal agencies, with specific examples, if possible.
