I'm writing on behalf of STAP to thank you for taking time to have lunch
with us during our meeting earlier this month. As an old Washington hand I
know how difficult it can be to carve out that scarce hour and a half.
The effect of the SDI on the Intelligence Community has been a topic of
continuing concern to the panel. Your remarks and the informal exchange that
followed were particularly valuable as they did much to clarif current issues
for us. I'd like to follow up on your suggestion and ask to brief
us further on key subjects at our next meeting.
