1. Reference Msg, CCR USAONE, AFKA??RM-?FD, 28130OZ Apr 82, Justification for
Continuance of RTUs/NDO, I ncl osure 1.
2. All MO3DES-RTU units are required, on an annual basis, to justifytheir con-
tinued existence as active MOGDES-RTUs. Reference requires this headquarters to
submit justification for extension of permanent orders for all RTU/MOBDES units
not later than 19 July 19182. 'Reference sets forth those matters that must be
addressed in such justification.
3. You are hereby directed to prepare, in the format "set forth in the
i ncl osure, a justification for the continued existence of your unit not later
than 9 July 1982.
4. Failure to submit the requirements in the reference could result in the
discontinuance of your unit.

portions of AR 140-1, as appropriate.
c. MDD meet the criteria in paragraph 4-5, AR 140-145 and paragraph 2-8,
and other pertinent portions of AR 140-1, as appropriate.
d. Each RTU and MDD has a current mission statement,
