Just east of Murmansk a number of small fishing vessels were seen heading
for tne White Sea. They were said to be o3d, bad condition, and all less than

observed from approximately one-half mile; they were underway and tnir engines

7. Observations at Murmansk
/ Six two-stack destroyers were observed -tied up at the Murmansk
dock yards. They appeared to be new and work was underway on. them. Apparently no
armaments had been placed on them, as none were observed. All were red-beaded.
